Determining the Boxspring Side Rail Measurements

It is now time to determine what the measurements of your boxspring rails actually are, and how to position your baseplates properly on them.

If side rails are less than 2 1/4′ wide, the Universal Bedleg System will not work properly, DO NOT INSTALL!

Placement of Base Plate on Side Rail

(3 1/4)
Place first base plate 6″ from end of boxspring and flush to the outside edge of side rail.

Use A and C holes for screw placement

(2 1/4)

Place first base plate 6″ from end of boxspring and flush to the outside edge of side rail.

NOTE: There will be a slight overhang to the inside edge of side rail.

Use A and B holes for screw placement.

Attaching Base Plates to Boxspring

Using a power screwdriver. mount the plate to the boxspring using supplied hardware.

• USE ONLY 4 SCREWS PER PLATE!

Attaching Leg Stems to Base Plates

Hand twist the threaded leg stem into the base plate
